Bring Samurai Through The Airport.?
I will be going to japan this december and i would like to buy a Samurai Sword, wanted to collect swords for a long time..but i dont think i would be able to bring it into singapore..Would i be able to bring the samurai sword though if i put it in my lagguage? and do i have to declare them? is there anyway to bring it in? ( unsharpen one )
oh yes and i live in singapore…there is no flee market in singapore and katana’s are not allowed..my uncle brought one in by putting it in his laggauge..i think he was lucky..should i give it a shot?
and one more thing..there are no shops in singapore that sells katana’s
Ok, here is the deal. I have a collection of about 50 swords. I have been to Japan and the majority of the swords that they sell there are cheep imitations, the same ones that you can by at the local flee market. Actuall the ones that i bought at the flee market are nicer and i didn’t have to ship them home. You cant take them in your Lugage, you would have to ship them home. I am telling you the real swords start at 15-20 thousand, all of the rest that start at 1000 dollars and up to 15 thousand are replicas. most people cant tell the diffrence. You will save your self alot of money if you just go to the flee market in you town.
